BB Kuala Lumpur State Awards Camp 2010

UPDATE! Apologies for the incorrect details. Please note that it is held in the month of NOVEMBER and not OCTOBER. Also, the fee was originally RM200, but after church subsidization, it is now only RM100.

The KL-State BB will be organizing an awards camp this coming November.

The number of participants responding to the camp with determine if there will be both BASIC and ADVANCED Level for the camp.

The Awards for both up for grabs are as follow, please note that both BASIC and ADVANCED may be available, but an individual may only be able sign up for one level (this is tbc) :

1. Camper's

2. Expedition

3. Water Adventure

4. Nature Awareness

5. Athletics

6. Fire & Rescue (Subject to and waiting for approval from Bomba Malaysia)

Don't miss this chance to get to know members from other companies, and go through a fun & challenging adventure together in this camp!

Those interested, please let your squad leaders know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, as the KL-State BB Council wants to know the number of responses for the camp.

Venue: Kem Bina Semangat, NS Campsite, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor

Date: 20th NOVEMBER 2010 - 23rd NOVEMBER 2010 (4 days, 3 nights)

Price per camper: RM100 (After church subsidization)

Founder's Day 2010

The Selangor and KL State Councils will be hosting this year's Founder's Day in Kuala Lumpur.

Here are the details:

KL-Selangor State Founder's Day

Venue: Methodist College Kuala Lumpur

Date: 16th October 2010 (Saturday)

Time: 7.30am-6.00pm

Things to bring: RM10, and FULL CEREMONIAL UNIFORM.

UPADTE HERE! ----Dress Code: Report in BB MUFTI WITH SPORTS PANTS, but bring along FULL CEREMONIAL UNIFORM.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Boys are to be present at Trinity Methodist Church PJ latest by 6.45am in SPORTS ATTIRE.

2. Boys will return to TMC PJ at approx. 7.00pm.

3. Boys are strongly discouraged to bring along valuable items: handphone, etc.

4. For food and transport, Boys are required to bring RM10 with them.

The Kairos Course: connecting you with God's World

This Kairos Course is designed to benefit youths between the ages of 15-25, and has been instrumental in raising youths who are passionate about the purposes about the Word of God.

4th Petaling Jaya Boys' Brigade Enrollment Day

Details of 4th PJ BB Enrollment

Date: 26th of September 2010 (Sunday)
Venue: Meet in TMC by 2.30pm LATEST

Dress Code: Ceremonial Dress

Destination: Emmanuel Baptist Church in Old Town

Time: from 3pm to 6pm (this is when the event starts and ends)

Seminar on 'Conflict and Opportunity'

There will be a seminar on Conflict and Opportunity by a renowned speaker, Dr. John Ng (PhD).

This seminar will be held on both Friday(24.9.2010) and Saturday(25.9.2010).

However, Boys are only required to attend the Saturday one.

You may choose to attend the Friday one if you wish.

4W Training Course on the 4th of September 2010

There will be the 4W course this week. Those who are not attending the BNTS or ANTS are required to attend this course.
